Dignity first. Data second.
Privacy and consent
Early pilot · 5 August 2026
Rondo is being built to help an older person with everyday matters and give family a factual view from afar. It is not a tool for monitoring an older person. We are planning the first pilot as a private conversation with Basia on WhatsApp or Messenger for people who already use a smartphone regularly. This notice explains the principles we follow and the key information about data processing. We will update it before any material change to how the service operates.
Data controller
The controller of personal data connected with the waitlist, pilot and operation of Rondo is Infinity Tech Group sp. z o.o., ul. Rynek Solny 1 lok. 6, 22-400 Zamość, Polska, KRS 0001236454, NIP 9223090619, REGON 544554591. Rondo is a product of this company, trading as Infinity Tech.

What the family can see
With the older person’s consent, people in the trusted circle receive a factual status showing whether a scheduled check-in happened, which simple matters Basia helped with and whether anything needs a person’s attention. They receive a specific request only after the older person explicitly agrees to share it. They do not receive the whole conversation with Basia. Each participant has their own access.
Messages in the first pilot
Basia is an automated AI assistant, not a human. The older person’s messages will be processed to hold the conversation, respond and help with simple everyday matters. If a person is needed, Basia shows the exact wording of a suggested request. The older person can edit it, keep it private or separately agree to share it with someone trusted.
Rondo’s backend does not store a full chat transcript or the original voice note. A voice note is downloaded temporarily for transcription and passed to a speech-processing provider. Message content is sent to the AI model provider so Basia can respond. Before activation, participants will receive the exact provider list, legal bases, retention periods and rules for any human access.
Rondo does not retrieve medical records, data from medical devices or information from healthcare systems. A conversation can still contain health-related information if the older person chooses to mention it, such as a prescription or doctor’s appointment. That information requires a separate legal assessment and safeguards before the pilot.
What the first pilot will not collect
- continuous location history or GPS data,
- data from medical devices or health wearables,
- content from other apps or conversations unrelated to Basia,
- browsing history or a list of apps used.
Telephone calls and optional data at later stages
Telephone calls with Basia are planned as a later way to use Rondo for people who do not regularly use a smartphone. We are also considering auxiliary features such as a last location after missed contact or selected activity summaries. None of these features will be active in the first pilot.
Before any such feature is introduced, the older person will receive a separate plain-language explanation for every data category and decide directly. A family member cannot consent on their behalf, and each permission will be separately withdrawable.
Joining the pilot
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the role you selected and confirmation of your consent. We use this information only to share Rondo updates, recruit families for the pilot and invite people to trials. Your consent is the legal basis for this processing.
Any extra answers about your needs, region or how the older person uses a smartphone are optional. The form does not ask for diagnoses, medical records, a home address or other sensitive information about someone you support.
Ideas and voting
People on the waitlist can vote on features and submit their own suggestions. We review every suggestion before it becomes public. The public board shows an approved idea and its vote count—never the author’s email address.
Storage and service providers
Form data is stored in Cloudflare D1. The public website is hosted by Vercel, while Cloudflare provides the database and form processing. We keep waitlist data for the pilot recruitment period, for no longer than 12 months, unless you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it sooner.
The pilot conversation architecture uses the WhatsApp Business Platform or Messenger Platform provided by Meta and the OpenAI API for transcription and Basia’s responses. Before processing real conversations, we will put the required processor agreements in place, document data transfers and retention, and give participants the final processor list. Conversation data must not be used to train general-purpose models.
The older person’s consent
In the first message, the older person receives a plain-language explanation that Basia is an automated AI system rather than a human, and confirms directly that they want to take part. The person setting up the circle cannot consent on their behalf. The STOP command ends further conversations; consent can be given again only through a new onboarding process.
Security and access
Pilot invitations will be single-use and access will be tied to a specific person. Participants will see only information from the circle they were invited to. The public demo uses fictional data and does not save changes between visits.
Contact
To withdraw consent, access or correct your data, or ask for its deletion, reply to any message from Rondo or email contact@infinityteam.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Personal Data Protection Office or your competent supervisory authority.
